Lt. Francis Griswold Life story
He was one of the first proprietors of Norwich, Connecticut at the settling of that town in 1660. Griswold was a deputy for Norwich to the Connecticut General Court from 1664-1671 and lieutenant of the Norwich trainband. In 1664 he served on a committee regarding Major John Mason's grant.
