Louis Delamare Life story
Louis Delamare (12 November 1921-4 September 1981) was France's ambassador to Lebanon until his assassination by Syria in 1981. He was murdered by Syria's intelligence forces to procure France's withdrawal from Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War.
