About Łódź Zoo
The Łódź Zoo is a zoological garden in the city of Łódź, Łódź Voivodeship in Poland. Established in 1938, it covers the area of 16,64 hectares in the district of Polesie and is home to 2,245 animals representing 667 species. As the only zoo in Poland, it houses the endangered Asiatic lions.
