Lloyd Montgomery Pidgeon Life story
Lloyd Montgomery Pidgeon, OC MBE was a Canadian chemist who developed the Pidgeon process, one of the methods of magnesium metal production, via a silicothermic reduction. He is considered the "father" of academic metallurgical research in Canada.
