About Live Aid


Live Aid was a dual-venue benefit concert held on Saturday 13 July 1985, and an ongoing music-based fundraising initiative. The original event was organised by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine.

Sir Tom Jones and Little Mix are among the British artists in the UK version of the star-studded One World: Together in concert.

The Event is already shown online and on TV, with the aim of celebrating, health care workers, who by the Corona-Virus-pandemic.

Bbc One sends a British edition with extras and stories about the UK front-line employees.

The Stars were filming to sing themselves, in their own - most-luxurious - houses.

Sir Paul Mccartney , Sir Elton John , the Rolling Stones and Coldplay ' s Chris Martin appeared in the main concert on US TV and are also in the UK version.

Lady Gaga , Stevie Wonder , Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift are among the US stars in both.

The Bbc One edit, which is comprised of Dermot O'leary, Clara Amfo and Claudia Winkleman , also additional services available from Rag 'N' Bone Man, George The Poet and The Kingdom of the choir.

Ellie Goulding and Jess, the glynne different songs have offered for the US and UK versions.

'True Heroes '

Sir Paul called the healthcare workers "the real heroes" of The Crisis , and recalled His Mother , Mary, was a nurse during the second World War .

"Let us our leaders, we need to strengthen health systems around The World so that a crisis like this never happens again," He Said before launching into Lady Madonna.

Although The Show was considered the "lockdown Live Aid ", The Stars were not asked the viewers to donate for charitable purposes.

Instead, the Global organization said The Show along with The World Health organization (WHO) and Lady Gaga : "world leaders, corporate partners and philanthropists, Citizen," the course of $127m (£100) had said that during The Event to support the health of the workers.

as well as raising funds and celebrating front-line employees, the broadcast, the audience gave an insight into the home of pop and rock superstars from Taylor Swift ' s flowers-wallpaper, Sir Elton John , basketball Hoop, and US singer Charlie Puth 's unmade bed.

The Rolling Stones managed to play together, from four different locations - Even if drummer Charlie Watts appeared to have a Drum Kit in his house.
