About Life For Ruth
Steadfast in his religious faith, John Harris (Michael Craig) refuses to give an emergency blood transfusion to his ailing daughter, believing a higher power would cure her. Tragically, the child dies, and John becomes the town pariah, even as he's wracked with guilt over his decision. Now with the town and his own wife, Pat (Janet Munro), against him, John must defend himself against a wrongful death suit brought by the child's physician, Dr. Brown (Patrick McGoohan).
