Leonard Nicholson Life story
Leonard Hanson Nicholson, OC, MBE served as the tenth Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, from May 1, 1951 to March 31, 1959. Nicolson served with the RCMP from 1923 to 1927, New Brunswick Provincial Police 1928-1930, Nova Scotia Police 1930-1932, then with the Canadian Army from 1941 to 1951.
