Latifî Life story
Latifî, or Kastamonulu Latifî Çelebi, was an Ottoman poet and bibliographer. Born in Kastamonu, in northern Anatolia, he became famous for his tezkire Tezkiretü'ş-Şuara, the second Ottoman collection of bibliographical data on poets and poetry in overall.
