Hundreds of dancers have performed in New York to show support for Prince George , after the six-year-old son of Prince William was mocked by a US television host for taking ballet lessons.

Lara Spencer , who hosts Good Morning America, has since apologised for her comments about the third in line to the UK throne.

Famous choreographers and dancers condemned her remarks.
