About Laird C. Kirkpatrick
Professor Kirkpatrick is the former Philip H. Knight Dean of the University of Oregon Law School, where he was also the Hershner Professor of Jurisprudence and later the Hollis Professor of Legal Procedure. At Oregon Law he received the University-wide Ersted award for teaching excellence.
