Lady Elizabeth Dalrymple Life story
Biography. Elizabeth Dalrymple was born about 1700, most likely at her father's estate, Glenmuir, in Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland. She was the eldest daughter of Colonel Hon. William Dalrymple of Glenmure and Lady Penelope Crichton Countess of Dumfries, cousins who married on 26 February 1698.
