Labiba Hashim Life story
Labiba Hashim was a Lebanese author who founded and published Fatat al-Sharq magazine in Cairo in 1906, one of the first female-oriented magazines of the Arab world. In the magazine Hashim advocated for women's rights, especially rights related to women's education and involvement in politics.
