Idealistic pediatrician Janusz Korczak (Wojtek Pszoniak) opens a makeshift orphanage in an abandoned school in Warsaw's Jewish ghetto during World War II, soon providing shelter to over 200 children whose parents were either killed or sent to concentration camps.
