When local politicians aim to close a rural police station because its officers spend more time retrieving wandering farm animals than nabbing thieves, cops Jacob (Fares Fares) and Lasse (Göran Ragnerstam) instigate a phony crime wave to justify their station's existence. At first, the plan is a smashing success. But problems arise when another cop, hot-headed Benny (Torkel Petersson), who doesn't know about Jacob and Lasse's plot, begins to investigate the pseudo-crime spree.
