Extinction of the Rebellion-protests: "This is a last resort"

There is a festival atmosphere in Westminster as from the extinction of Rebellion activists emerge from their tents, in the centre of London.

The streets around the Parliament - are usually full with Traffic - in fact, littered with the camps of tents, pavilions and temporary food points, where hundreds of demonstrators from around the Country spent The Night .

One of those who is camped over night Mikaela Loach, who traveled to London with the bus from Edinburgh with a friend.

The 21-Year -old says her decision to take part in This Week 's action a "last resort".

"I have spoken To My local MP, I have participated in protests. I just feel like I didn't hear you," she says.

"I have Changes in my life style for a long time, to try and be more eco-friendly, But I had the realization a few months ago that it doesn't matter if I'm vegan or zero-waste, if the government do everything. There is large structural Changes to. "

she says the prospect of spending The Night in the tent was a little scary - But , spirits were high.

"I was a bit worried about the police in The Middle of The Night , But it was a really nice atmosphere, surrounded by the solidarity with people who are here for the same thing," she says.
