Kaoru Morimoto was a Japanese playwright, director, translator, and actor. He is famous for his critically acclaimed play, A Woman's Life, one of Japan's most frequently staged plays post World War II. Morimoto's work was most popular during the post-war period but his plays are still read and performed today.
