About Kairakum
Guliston is a town in north-western Tajikistan. It is located in Ghafurov District of Sughd Province, at the western tip of the Kayrakum Reservoir. Qayroqqum is a city of provincial subordination, administratively subordinated to the provincial capital of Khujand, not to the district capital of Ghafurov.
