Julius Sturm Life story
Julius Sturm, German poet, was born at Köstritz in the principality of Reuss. He studied theology at Jena from 1837 to 1841, and was appointed preceptor to the hereditary prince Heinrich XIV, Prince Reuss Younger Line. In 1851 he became pastor of Göschitz near Schleiz, and in 1857 at his native village of Köstritz.
