Julius Horwitz Life story
Julius Horwitz, the author of nine books, many of them dealing with the welfare system and other social issues, died of a heart attack Sunday at his home in Larchmont, N.Y. He was 65 years old. A native of Cleveland, Mr. Horwitz worked from 1956 to 1962 as a caseworker for the New York City Welfare Department.
