About Juan Sebastián Restrepo
Army Pfc. Juan Sebastián "Doc" Restrepo was a Colombian American soldier and medic. Restrepo was killed in Korengal Valley, Afghanistan, of neck wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small-arms fire. He was remembered in the Academy Award-nominated documentary, Restrepo.
