Joseph Lathrop Life story
Biography. Joseph Lathrop (1731-1820) was born in Norwich, Conn. He graduated from Yale College in 1754 and was ordained minister of the Second Parish in Springfield (now West Springfield), Mass., in 1756. He remained there until his death in 1820. Lathrop was considered a liberal Calvinist.
