Joseph Gottlieb Dente Musician Life story
Joseph Gottlieb Dente, born in Stockholm 23 January 1838 and died 24 May 1905 (also in Stockholm). Dente was employed as a violinist with the Royal Court Orchestra from 1853 and then as a conductor at the Royal Opera (second chief conductor from 1872, chief conductor 1879−85).
