Josep Amat Life story
José Amat Pages (1901-1991), also Josep Amat, was born in Barcelona and is considered a representative of post-Impressionist landscape painting –posthumous discussions have also stated him as a follower of the Fauves. In 1970 he was a professor at the Real Academia Catalana de Bellas Artes de San Jorge.
