Josef Kopta Life story
Josef Kopta was a Czech writer and journalist. Before World War I Kopta worked as a bank clerk. In 1914 he was sent to the Eastern front, in 1915 taken prisoner and later joined Czechoslovak Legions in Russia. After the war he worked as a journalist in newspapers Národní osvobození and Lidové noviny.
