Josef Hengge Life story
Josef Hengge (1890 – 1970) born in Kempten, was an Allgäuer painter. In 1904 he started an apprenticeship at the church-painter Haug, in Ottobeuren; from 1908 to 1913 he went to the Städtische Gewergebschule and to the Königliche Kunstgewerbeschule in Munich.
