Jørn Winther Life story
Jorn Winther, the director on the landmark David Frost-Richard Nixon interviews that kept television and radio audiences transfixed over four consecutive nights in 1977, has died. He was 88. Winther was killed Nov. 9 in an automobile accident in front of Palm Desert High School outside Palm Springs.
