Jony Ive

Sir Jonathan Paul Ive KBE HonFREng RDI is a British industrial and product designer, as well as businessman. Ive was the chief design officer of Apple Inc. from 1997 until 2019, and serves as Chancellor of the Royal College of Art.

Early Life and Education

Jony ive was bonr in london in 1967. He attended walton high school. Where he developed an interest in desig. Nhe studied design at newcastle polytechnic. Which is now the university of northumbria. He graduated in 1989 with a degree in industrial design.

Apple Career

In 1992. Ive joined apple as a senior designer. Where he workde on products such as the imca. The macbook pro. And the iphone. In was promoted to senior vice president of design. And in 2015 he was promoted to chief design officer.
