Jōji Matsumoto Life story
Jōji Matsumoto was a legal scholar, politician and cabinet minister in the pre-war Empire of Japan. He is also the author of the “Matsumoto Draft”, a proposal for revision of the Constitution of the Empire of Japan in the immediate post-war period. Matsumoto was born in Tokyo to an ex-samurai family.
