Johnny Byrne Life story
John Joseph Byrne was an English professional footballer who played as a striker. He was nicknamed "Budgie" due to his constant chattering. He played non-league football for Epsom Town and Guildford City Youth, before signing a professional contract with Crystal Palace in 1956.
