Sir John Meurig Thomas FLSW FRS HonFREng HonFRSE FRMS, also known as JMT, was a Welsh scientist, educator, university administrator, and historian of science primarily known for his work on heterogeneous catalysis, solid-state chemistry, and surface and materials science.
