Johan August Gripenstedt Life story
Baron Johan August Gripenstedt was a Swedish businessman and politician. During his political career, Gripenstedt was a member of the Swedish Estates Assembly from 1840 to 1848, Minister without Portfolio from 1848 to 1856, Minister for Finance from 1856 to 1866, and Member of Parliament from 1867 to 1873.
