Pandiá Calógeras Life story
João Pandiá Calógeras (b. 19 June 1870; d. 21 April 1934), Brazilian statesman, minister, and author. Educated as an engineer, Calógeras served as a federal deputy (1897–1899 and 1903–1914). He sponsored a law giving the government control over subsoil resources, and was active in boundary and military questions.
