About Jing'an District
Trendy Jing'an is known as much for its namesake temple, a large golden-roofed complex housing a vast jade Buddha statue, as for the upscale malls and lively Shanghainese dim sum restaurants lining Nanjing West Road. Nearby, Jing'an Park has green lawns, rock gardens and a lake. The district's numerous wine bars and hip cafes spill into the adjoining French Concession area.
