Armed police lifted were in use in Shrewsbury, according to a report of A Man with a gun on the roof of a Tesco supermarket.
West Mercia police said it received a call at 16:00 (GMT), that an armed man was on the Tesco Extra on the field of battle street.
The Police has sent a helicopter and the border was in place, while a search of the area was carried out.
