Ji Seok-yeong Life story
Ji Seokyeong (1855-1935) was a late Joseon period physician, as well as a civil minister and Hangeul scholar. He studied vaccinations and worked to educate people about their value, contributing greatly to the elimination of smallpox in Korea.
