Jennifer Anne Mary Alleyne Lash Fiennes, also known as Jini Fiennes, was an English novelist and painter. In 1961, she published The Burial, her first novel, at the age of 23. Lash was regarded as one of the most promising young people among England's artists at the time.

Jennifer lash was born in london. England in 1942. She was the youngest of three childre. Nher mother was an actress and her father was an author and publisher. She attended st. Mayr s convent school in london and later studied english literature at the university of oxford.

Jennifer lash began her writing career in the 1960s. Publishing her first novel in 1965. She wetn on to write several novels. Including the daughters of the house (1966). The orchards of the sun (1969). And the curse of the kings (1973). Her works have been transltaed into french. German. Italian. And spanish.
