No new deaths from coronavirus were registered in Scotland in the last 24 hours for the First Time since the early days of the pandemic.

health Secretary Jeane Freeman noted that there were fewer deaths on the weekend, and warned of further deaths were cases, "even likely".

the Latest Scottish Government figures show, 15,621 people tested positive for Covid-19.

This Was an increase of 18 from the Saturday.

Since no additional people have tested positive have died, the total number of deaths in Scotland by this measure, 2,415.

There was no change in The Number of people treated in the hospital with a confirmed case 646 with a 16 on the intensive care unit. A further nine people were in the ICU with suspected Covid-19.

Since the 5. March, 3,801 people have been released from the hospital after receiving treatment for The Virus .

Scotland' s coronavirus death source: Scottish Government

on the occasion of the government of coronavirus briefing, Ms Freeman zero deaths said in 24 hours was a piece of "positive news", but urged to read the people, to keep too much in the character and lockdown restrictions.

Scotland, said it had made progress, but that progress "fragile".

Ms Freeman said: "We Are in The Business of rushing out announcements on the back, if a piece of positive news, but a unique piece of positive news in the context of the weekend, if we know that The Number of registered deaths are lower than in a week day.

"I want to be here for many more days in which either I or the First Minister are, these kinds of numbers, but for us to get there, we need to stick with the measures that are in place. "

Ms Freeman said, the numbers you read were just "statistics".

She Said : "Each of the 2,415 people died, was an individual whose loss is a source of grief and sorrow for very many.

"will I send my deepest condolences to all who lost a loved One . "
