Jean E. Lowrie Life story
Jean Elizabeth Lowrie was an American librarian, educator, and President of the American Library Association from 1973 to 1974. She received a bachelor's degree from Keuka College in 1940 and a second bachelor's degree in library science from Western Reserve University in 1941.
