Jan Czekanowski Life story
Jan Czekanowski was a Polish anthropologist, statistician, ethnographer, traveller, and linguist. Czekanowski is known for having played an important role in saving the Polish-Lithuanian branch of the Karaite people from Holocaust extermination.
