James Everard Home Life story
Captain Sir James Everard Home, 2nd Baronet, RN CB FRS, born at Well Manor, Hampshire, England, was an eminent nineteenth century Royal Navy officer. From 1 February 1834 to 5 December 1837, he was commander of the 18-gun sloop HMS Racehorse, serving in the West Indies.
