Jacqy Phillips was the first actress to play Irene Roberts. She appeared in 15 episodes in 1991-1992. When the character of Irene was re-introduced in early 1993, Lynne McGranger took over the role. Jacqy's Irene was a nastier character than the later iteration of her.
