Jacob Axel Josephson Life story


Josephson, Jacob Axel, Swedish conductor, organist, teacher, and composer; b. Stockholm, March 27, 1818; d. Uppsala, March 29, 1880. He studied at the Univ. of Uppsala, and in 1844 he went to Germany, where he studied with Hauptmann and Gade in Leipzig.
