Jacinto Pat Life story
Jacinto Pat ( Tihosuco , Yucatán,? - Holchén , Yucatán mid-September 1849 ) was a batab (indigenous Mayan mayor ) originating from the town of Tihosuco. He was the leader and initiator - along with Cecilio Chi and Manuel Antonio Ay - of the so-called Caste War (1848-1901).
