Jaap Kunst Life story
Jaap Kunst was a Dutch ethnomusicologist, particularly associated with the study of gamelan music of Indonesia. He is known for coining the word "ethno-musicology" as a more accurate alternative to the then-preferred term, "comparative musicology".
