About Isophysis
Isophysis is a genus of herbaceous, perennial and rhizomatous plants in the Iris family. A monotypic genus formerly known as Hewardia, it contains a single species, Isophysis tasmanica, endemic to the mountains of Western Tasmania growing in heathland on sandy soils.
