Isaac Cowles Life story
Captain Isaac Cowles (March 28, 1675-February 7, 1756) was the son of Samuel Cowles and Abigail Stanley of Farmington, Connecticut and the husband of Elizabeth Smith. He was made an ensign of the second or north company of Farmington's trainband in May 1714 and later promoted to captain.
