Ingvald Martin Undset Life story
Ingvald Undset was an archeologist and the father of the novelist and Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Unset. He was born 9 November 1853 in Trondheim, the son of Hallvard Halvardsen Undset and Øllegård Kristine Dahl. Ingvald spent his formative years in Trondheim, where he attended the Latin School.
