Ikeda Shōen Life story
Ikeda Shoen (1886-1917) was a Japanese-style painter in Tokyo, who studied under Mizuno Toshkata and others. Her husband was Ikeda Terukata. She was well known as a painter of Beauty with Uemura Shoen. We regularly organize museum-quality exhibitions of contemporary Japanese artists.
