Ibrahim Ibn Yaqub Life story
Ibrahim ibn Yaqub was a 10th-century Hispano-Arabic, Sephardi Jewish traveller, probably a merchant, who may have also engaged in diplomacy and espionage. His family hailed from Moorish-ruled Ṭurṭūšah close to the mouth of the Ebro: he may also have lived in Cordova.
