Horex is a German motorcycle manufacturer. In 1920 Friedrich Kleemann, financial manager at the Rex Konservenglas Gesellschaft in Bad Homburg bought COLUMBUS MOTORENBAU AG, a small motor factory in Oberursel by Taunus, which was in the neighbourhood.
